The Velo Masterplan, finalized by interim Mayor General Stelian Bujduveanu, will soon be submitted to the General Council for debate. It includes an extensive network of bike lanes, with 150 km of primary and 415 km of secondary routes, designed to connect homes with workplaces and institutions. Bujduveanu stresses the importance of making Bucharest a people- and bike-friendly city, promoting safe and efficient urban mobility.
