The Local Council of Sector 1 in Bucharest voted to approve the prefeasibility study for the construction of a multipurpose hall with a capacity of 15,000 seats, located at Bucharest-Târgoviște Road No. 10. The project is part of a package of investments aimed at modernizing local infrastructure and supporting public health. The hall will be built under a public-private partnership, with the Sector 1 City Hall providing the land and administrative procedures, while the private partner is responsible for construction. The included facilities will comprise spaces for cultural and sporting events, an Olympic swimming pool, an underground parking lot with 700 spaces, and a park developed over an area of more than 41,000 square meters. The project will contribute to promoting Sector 1 as a destination for competitions and international events.
