Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan announced on Tuesday after a PNL meeting that a resolution was voted to ensure governmental stability and announced political discussions with the political groups that support the current government, after PSD voted to withdraw its support for him.

"We will initiate discussions with the political groups that support the current government, today and tomorrow, with USR, UDMR, and the minority group, to see in what form a minority government could function," the prime minister stated.

At the same time, the prime minister and PNL leader said that in Tuesday's meeting, a decision was reaffirmed not to form a coalition with PSD anymore.

"From a political standpoint, a month ago we adopted a decision seeing the steps and what PSD was doing, we requested this from them and made an appeal to reason to maintain governmental stability in coalition. I warned then that if a political crisis were to be triggered, PNL would no longer form a coalition with PSD. This decision was reaffirmed today. PNL's decision is not to form a coalition with PSD anymore."
