The National Trade Union Bloc (BNS) has requested the Government to immediately withdraw the draft Law on Salaries in the public sector, which it considers fundamentally conceptually flawed and unable to ensure equity and predictability. Trade unionists emphasize that the current form of the project does not represent a real reform, but perpetuates existing imbalances, risking the generation of new inequities. BNS criticizes the lack of authentic social dialogue and an objective analytical assessment of positions, as well as the disregard for the recommendations of the World Bank. Trade unionists highlight deficiencies such as lack of equity in remuneration, risks to employees' careers, and lack of legislative predictability.

BNS demands transparency in salary communication and the creation of working groups for the assessment and redesign of the salary system. Nearly 18,000 employees from the Finance system protested, claiming the lack of real salary increases in the last decade and warning that the current project could lead to a new salary freeze.
