As part of the "Choose a clean city" campaign, volunteers collected more than 15 tons of waste from the Plopeni forest, in the context of the International Environment Day.

About 100 volunteers, including BAT employees and representatives of environmental agencies, managed to collect 15 tons of waste from Plopeni Forest, a protected natural area. The action took place in the framework of the "Choose a clean city" campaign, dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of protecting the environment. The waste collected includes construction materials, PETs and textiles and the initiative underlines BAT's commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. This is the seventh edition of the campaign, which promotes community involvement in environmental action.
