In December, ANPC carried out control actions at over 6,700 economic operators, resulting in contravention fines of over 32.1 million lei and the temporary suspension of activities for 80 operators. The commissioners analyzed 4,000 complaints, aiming to protect the health and interests of consumers. ANPC conducted over 1,500 counseling actions to prevent violations and collaborated with other institutions in 140 joint actions.

The President of ANPC, Ionel-Cristinel Obretin, emphasized that these interventions are not just about sanctions, but about responsibility and safety, reaffirming the institution's commitment to protecting consumer rights.
