Romania and South Korea marked 35 years of diplomatic relations, discussing the expansion of cooperation in strategic areas such as defense and energy.

The meeting between Romanian and South Korean officials celebrated 35 years of diplomatic relations, highlighting political, economic and cultural cooperation. They discussed expanding collaboration in strategic areas including defense, nuclear and renewable energy, infrastructure and IT&C. President Nicușor Dan emphasized the interest for South Korean investments, while Woo Won-shik expressed South Korea's support for Romania's accession to the OECD. The regional security situation was also addressed, reaffirming support for Ukraine.
