The National Meteorological Administration has announced a code yellow heatwave with temperatures of 35-38 degrees in the south and west of the country. At the same time, mountainous areas and western Moldova are facing atmospheric instability, bringing torrential downpours and thunderstorms. The warnings are valid until Tuesday morning and the heatwave will persist in Bucharest, where maximum temperatures are expected to reach 37-38 degrees. Meteorologists advise caution in the face of extreme weather.
