The National Administration Apele Române (ANAR) announces that it will organize public tenders for the management of tourist beaches, without extending existing contracts. The aim is to correct previous dysfunctions and generate higher revenues for the state budget. ANAR will expand the areas available for lease and will change the category of the beaches, according to the new regulations. 50% of the revenues obtained will be allocated to the state budget, while the rest will be for investments in water management infrastructure.
