Alfred Simonis underlines the importance of the PSD in the context of the recent election results, saying that without this party a government cannot be built. Although it has not yet been decided whether the PSD will join the government or support an outside government, Simonis promised that discussions will take place soon. He highlighted the risks of extremism and called for responsibility on the part of pro-European parties. As for the future of PSD President Marcel Ciolacu, Simonis said that an internal analysis would be carried out and that any changes would be discussed in the coming period.
