In the village of Pleși, Bisoca commune (Buzău County), the authorities are on alert after a bear has entered eight homes recently. The most recent incident occurred on the night from Thursday to Friday, when the wild animal entered a house inhabited by an elderly woman, who discovered the damage in the morning.
Mayor Florin Stemate stated that, although most of the affected houses were uninhabited, the bear caused significant damage. Residents in the area are seeking help from the authorities, expressing their fears regarding their safety and that of their grazing animals. The Buzău County Gendarmerie Inspectorate confirmed the deployment of a team on-site to manage the situation. The community is in a state of panic, and locals are calling for urgent measures to prevent further incidents.
