A truck hit a tram power line in Bucharest, the falling cable injuring a woman on the sidewalk. The tram lines are blocked, and STB has established shuttle lines.

On Thursday, November 6, 2025, an incident occurred in Bucharest when a truck hit a wire from the tram's overhead electric network at the intersection of Calea Dudești and Șoseaua Mihai Bravu. Following the cable's fall, a woman on the sidewalk was struck and required medical attention, being assisted by a SMURD crew. Due to this accident, tram lines 1, 10, 19, 23, 27, and 49 are blocked. To facilitate passenger transport, STB has established two shuttle bus lines: line 601, between the Romprim terminal and the Obor intersection, and line 623, between the Faur terminal and the intersection of Nerva Traian Street with Octavian Goga Boulevard.
