A section of the A7 highway will be opened on Friday after the completion of the bridge over the Buzău river, although work has been significantly delayed.

The full opening of Lot 1 of the A7 Buzău-Focșani highway, scheduled for Friday, comes after a considerable delay compared to the original completion deadline of August 2024. Although the section has been completed with difficulties, it will provide an important alternative for local and regional traffic, facilitating the crossing of the Buzău River. Since the contract with UMB was signed in September 2022, work has been delayed and it is now hoped that the opening will improve road traffic in the area.
