The Minister of Transport, Ciprian Șerban, announced on Facebook that work on Lot 4 of the A0 North highway is advanced, with a 75% stage. In contrast, lot 3, built by a Chinese constructor, has reached only 53%, with the risk of not being completed within the contract deadline. The minister warned that the delays would result in penalties and interim negative certificates for the Chinese builder, and called for greater mobilization on the site.
