A 67-year-old man from Darabani was rescued on Thursday by military and volunteer firefighters after he fell into a deep well approximately seven meters deep. The incident occurred while the man was trying to fetch water and, due to inattention, he fell.

Managing to grab onto a rope, he called the emergency number 112 for help. Firefighters from the Darabani Work Point, together with the Volunteer Emergency Situations Service, quickly intervened with two fire trucks and an ambulance. At the scene, they found that the man had one leg trapped in a bucket, but they managed to rescue him in less than five minutes. The victim was conscious but refused to be transported to the hospital.
