The works on lot 1 of the Bucharest North Ring Road, between Joița and Corbeanca, have reached a physical stage of approximately 40%. The general director of CNAIR, Cristian Pistol, announced that the association of Italian and Romanian builders (Pizzaroti - Retter) is working on the entire section of 17.5 kilometers, having about 650 workers and 300 machines at their disposal.

Pistol emphasized the need to accelerate the works to recover delays and ensure visible effects in traffic by the end of the year. The objective is to reduce the time spent in traffic and provide more predictability for residents and businesses in Bucharest. He will personally monitor the progress of the construction site and provide periodic updates.
