A 35-year-old man died of a heart attack after being examined twice at the Brașov County Emergency Hospital, being sent home each time. His wife claims that the man first arrived at the hospital before Christmas, complaining of severe chest pain, but the doctors treated him superficially, giving him only vitamins and algocalmin.
Two days after the first visit, he returned to the hospital but was again sent home. He died a week later, and the family states that preliminary results indicate a heart attack. The hospital announced that it will open an internal investigation to clarify the circumstances of the case, mentioning that both doctors who examined him found no signs of a condition that would require hospitalization. Additionally, the police have opened a criminal investigation and are awaiting the results of the autopsy.
