15-year-old teenager searched for in the waters of the Danube, in the Cetate area, Dolj. He fell into a deep pit while swimming.

A 15-year-old teenager from the village of Cetate, Dolj County, is being searched for on Wednesday evening in the waters of the Danube, after reportedly falling into a deep pit during a swimming session with a 16-year-old friend.

The Dolj County Police were alerted by an emergency call to 112, and search teams, including divers, boats equipped with sonar, and a SMURD helicopter, were mobilized to the scene. Police officers, border police, and representatives of the Volunteer Emergency Situations Service from Cetate are present in the search area.

Authorities have confirmed that the minor has not resurfaced since the incident, and the search continues to find him.
