A 15-year-old teenager is being investigated for attempted murder after stabbing a 19-year-old in the courtyard of a school in Mavrodin, Teleorman County.

A 15-year-old teenager is being investigated for attempted murder after stabbing a 19-year-old in the courtyard of the Mavrodin Gymnasium School, Teleorman County.

The incident occurred on Monday evening, around 9:50 PM, against the backdrop of a previous conflict between the two. The aggressor used a folding knife, inflicting two wounds on the victim's back, in the left hemithorax area. The victim was urgently transported to the Alexandria County Emergency Hospital, where he underwent surgery, and prosecutors stated that the injuries sustained put the young man's life in danger.

The teenager was detained for 24 hours, and on Wednesday, prosecutors submitted a proposal for preventive arrest to the Teleorman Tribunal. Authorities continue investigations to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
