A 14-year-old minor from Oradea has been placed in preventive detention for child pornography, rape of a minor, and blackmail, being investigated by the authorities.

The police in Oradea, together with DIICOT prosecutors, documented the criminal activity of the minor, who, in July 2025, allegedly produced and distributed video materials featuring a minor victim in explicit sexual situations. Additionally, she allegedly coerced the victim into participating in sexual video calls, threatening to publish the materials online. Starting in October 2025, the minor also possessed and stored photographs of other minors in sexual situations. The forensic expertise confirmed the minor's discernment at the time of the offenses. On January 16, 2026, prosecutors ordered her detention, and the Bihor Tribunal decided on preventive arrest for 15 days.
