An 11-year-old girl from Timișoara was taken to the hospital after being stabbed by her mother, who was facing mental health issues. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening when the mother, upset that her husband intended to admit her to a psychiatric clinic, decided to take revenge on her daughter. Taking advantage of the fact that they were alone at home, she attacked the girl while she was sleeping, inflicting four stab wounds. The girl's father, who entered the house and heard noise, called the emergency number 112. Ambulance and police crews arrived at the scene. The girl was transported to the 'Louis Țurcanu' Children's Hospital, where doctors managed to stabilize her. The mother was taken for questioning and will undergo a specialized examination.
