The internal report of the Prosecutor's Office of the Court of Appeal of Oradea revealed that 107 criminal cases have been abandoned, some for years. The audit was initiated by the prosecutor general and focused on the work of prosecutors, highlighting the stagnation of investigations. Dida Naghiu, a prosecutor involved in investigating notaries, was moved after conflict with management, and the report highlighted that her colleagues had also performed poorly. Although explanations for the delays were offered, they were not uniformly accepted and the situation was labeled as administrative chaos. The institution has promised to resolve the majority of cases by 2025, but has not given details of the time bar on cases.
