Located in the Melik house, the 'Theodor Pallady' museum reopens its doors on Friday, after a process of rearrangement and restoration of the Serafina and Gheorghe Răut art collection. Director Erwin Kessler announced that starting May 21, the 'Divanul Artelor' meetings will begin, organized bi-monthly. The rearrangement was necessary after the damage caused by a storm in 2022.

The exhibition space has been expanded by a third, dedicating it to the works of Theodor Pallady and other contemporary artists. The collection includes personal items of the artist, such as his cane and favorite book. The Melik house, built in the 18th century, has had a diverse history, serving as a noble residence and a shelter. The new exhibition includes a room dedicated to maps and works grouped by artistic schools. The museum can be visited from Wednesday to Sunday, and the ticket price ranges from 4 to 16 lei.
