Sabrina Carpenter, a world-renowned pop star, has obtained a temporary restraining order against William Applegate, a man who attempted to break into her home in Los Angeles. In the legal documents, Carpenter described the incidents as "deeply alarming," noting that the man had appeared uninvited at her residence multiple times, including on May 23, when he tried to open the door and refused to leave until the police arrived. The artist stated that this behavior caused her significant fear for her personal safety and requested a restraining order to protect herself and her two roommates. A judge temporarily approved the request, ordering Applegate to stay at least 100 yards away from Carpenter and her home. A subsequent hearing is scheduled for June 17, and the man will be tried for breaking and entering. LAPD detectives stated that Applegate has developed a disturbing obsession with Carpenter, which poses a serious risk to the victim's safety.
