Universitatea Craiova has officially announced the transfer of French striker Simon Elisor, 26 years old, from Famalicao, a team in the top division of Portugal.
The announcement was made on social media, where the club specified that Elisor has signed a contract valid for two seasons, with the option to extend for another year. Universitatea Craiova paid 1.5 million euros for this transfer. Elisor, who previously played for teams such as Metz, Troyes, and Ajaccio, had a modest season at Famalicao, achieving one goal and three assists in 36 matches.
Additionally, Universitatea Craiova is preparing for the first qualifying round match of the Champions League against ML Vitebsk, scheduled for July 8. The return match will take place on July 15, with both matches being broadcast live on Digi Sport.
