The Major League Soccer match between San José Earthquakes and Minnesota United FC, which ended with a score of 1-5, was interrupted for a few seconds at the beginning of stoppage time when a baby entered the field.

The incident occurred in the 91st minute, after a foul in favor of the visiting team. The referee stopped the game, and television cameras captured the moment when a steward was holding the smiling baby in his arms.

The commentator noted that it is "too early to be banned for life in a stadium" and compared the incident to a previous intrusion by a raccoon. The baby was later handed over to a young woman, likely his mother, and how he escaped from his parents' supervision remains unclear.

The scene was considered adorable by MLS fans and amused the Minnesota team, who took the opportunity to joke about their victory. The team's coach, Cameron Knowles, humorously commented on the incident, emphasizing that it was a pleasant surprise during the match.

This victory brought Minnesota back into the play-in race in the Western Conference, while San José suffered a severe defeat.
