Tahirys Dos Santos, a young football player at FC Metz, gave an emotional interview to Paris Match, in which he recounted how he survived the devastating fire at the La Constellation bar in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, on New Year's Eve.

He suffered burns on 30% of his body, including his back, arms, hands, and face. During the party, he went out to accompany his girlfriend to the restroom and encountered flames, at which point he decided to flee down the stairs. Dos Santos described the chaos around him, with screams and panic, and recounted how he felt paralyzed, worried for his friends. A friend, Amandine, found him and helped him reach the ambulance, thus saving his life.
