Golden State Warriors have announced that Stephen Curry will remain with the team for at least two more seasons after signing a contract extension. According to a person familiar with the agreement, the deal is worth $116 million and includes a player option for the 2028-2029 season.
Curry, a two-time MVP and four-time NBA champion, was eligible to become a free agent in July 2027. Both he and the team have consistently rejected speculation about a possible departure. General manager Mike Dunleavy has repeatedly expressed his desire for the basketball player to finish his career with the Warriors, praising his contributions on the court, leadership, and impact on the community.
