Simona Radiș and Adriana Adam won the gold medal in double sculls at the World Rowing Championships held in Amsterdam, with an impressive time of 06:49.86.

This is the first world gold medal won by the two athletes in this combination, and Radiș stated that they are happy and grateful, promising that it will not be their last success.

The silver medal was won by the crew from France, who finished the race in 06:56.21, while the bronze medal went to the crew from the USA, with a time of 06:59.76.

On the same day, Ștefan Berariu and Florin Lehaci competed in the men's double sculls final.
