Serena Williams, a 23-time Grand Slam champion, may return to tennis competitions starting February 22, according to the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA).
Although her name has been included on the reintegration list, Williams has not officially confirmed a return after ending her career at the 2022 US Open. After a six-month period of availability for doping testing, retired players can return to competition. Williams previously stated that she would not come back, but left the door open for a return, mentioning that she does not know what will happen next. She also emphasized that she does not like the term "retirement," preferring to say that she is "evolving" from tennis.
