Romania's U21 team scored a surprise 29-25 victory over Iceland U21 in their debut at the Men's Handball World Cup in Poland. Goalkeeper Marian Sîrghie had an excellent performance and Daniel Stanciuc was top scorer with 11 goals. Coach Adrian Petrea underlined the importance of this victory for the team's morale and prepared the players for the next match against North Macedonia. Romania U21 is aiming to continue its winning streak in the competition.
