Răzvan Burleanu will have competition at FRF: Ilie Drăgan, the president of the 3 Kids Sports club, will run for the presidency of FRF

Răzvan Burleanu, the current president of the FRF, will have competition in the 2026 elections, after Ilie Drăgan, the president of the junior club 3 Kids Sports, announced that he will run. Drăgan, who previously tried to obtain this position in 2018, must submit his candidacy file and obtain the support of at least 5 affiliated FRF members. The elections are scheduled for March 18. Drăgan expressed his desire to have more opponents and emphasized his passion for football, as well as his experience in leading the club. Although he already has 4 proposals, he hopes to obtain 8-9 endorsements to strengthen his candidacy.
