Club Rapid has announced the name change to 'Fotbal Club Rapid' as of the 2025-2026 competitive season, emphasizing that this name represents the full and legitimate form of the team. The former name, 'FC Rapid 1923', was used temporarily during the period of administrative and legal reconstruction, until the disputes over the official brand identity were resolved.
