Ferencvaros has officially confirmed the permanent transfer of midfielder Naby Keita, with the contract expiring in 2028. Keita, at the age of 30, was brought in for free from Werder Bremen, after a loan period until 2025. Although he was bought by Liverpool in 2018 for 60 million euros, his career has been affected by injuries and disciplinary issues, leading to underwhelming performances in the Bundesliga. However, in the Hungarian league, Keita has managed to reinvent himself, playing 28 matches and winning the championship title. With an impressive CV, he has played for clubs such as RB Salzburg and RB Leipzig, and has accumulated 58 caps and 12 goals for the Guinea national team. Along with the titles won, Keita is appreciated for his versatility on the field, being able to play in various midfield roles.
