Mihai Stoica calls for changes in Liga 1 after the meeting with Răzvan Burleanu

Mihai Stoica, the president of the FCSB Board of Directors, met with Răzvan Burleanu, the president of the FRF, after the elections in which Burleanu was re-elected for the fourth time. Although FCSB did not vote for Burleanu, Stoica engaged in a constructive dialogue, requesting changes to the rules in Liga 1. Stoica criticized the U21 rule, emphasizing that teams should not be forced to use young players from a modest generation. He mentioned that not only FCSB but all teams participating in European cups are affected by this rule, which forces them to field a weaker lineup. Stoica stated that, although the rule may have benefits, its discretionary application is problematic and threatened with legal action if the situation does not improve.
