Arsenal team captain, Martin Odegaard, is facing a shoulder injury that has kept him sidelined in the early matches of the season. He has suffered a medial collateral ligament injury and will be unavailable for a month, thus missing five league matches, including the clash with Crystal Palace, as well as two Champions League matches. Odegaard will also miss the qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup with the Norwegian national team.
