English League Cup: Manchester City - Newcastle 3-1. City will play the final of the competition, against Arsenal London

Manchester City achieved a convincing victory of 3-1 against Newcastle in the second leg of the League Cup semifinal, thus advancing to the final with an aggregate score of 5-1. At the Etihad Stadium, Marmoush's double, scored in the 7th and 29th minutes, calmed the waters, and Reijnders' goal in the 32nd minute put a solid 3-0 on the scoreboard.

The visitors tried to come back in the second half, but they only scored once, through Anthony Elanga, in the 62nd minute. With a 5-1 aggregate score, the "citizens" move on to the final act of the League Cup, where they will face Arsenal London.
