Young Italian driver Kimi Antonelli, 18, has been found guilty by the FIA for the crash in the first corner of the Austrian Grand Prix that led to Max Verstappen's retirement. Antonelli received a three-place grid penalty for the British Grand Prix. After the incident, the Mercedes driver admitted his fault and apologized, explaining that he had lost control of the car when his rear wheels locked. FIA stewards confirmed his responsibility in the collision as avoidable.
