Kader Keita, 25 years old, has obtained permission to leave Romania, despite the investigation for involuntary manslaughter, after hitting a woman at a pedestrian crossing on March 3, an incident that resulted in the victim's death on April 7. The footballer has been placed under judicial control and sent to trial for two charges, which can carry sentences of up to seven years in prison.
The Sector 2 Court approved his request to leave the country, arguing that the ban hinders his ability to find a team abroad. His lawyer presented letters of intent from clubs in Saudi Arabia, highlighting the difficulties of supporting his family without the possibility of continuing his career. This decision gives Kader Keita the chance to resume his career after parting ways with Rapid.
