Jaqueline Cristian, a 27-year-old Romanian tennis player ranked 32nd in the WTA, was eliminated on Monday from the competition at Roland Garros, in the first round of the Grand Slam tournament in Paris.


She was defeated by Kamilla Rakhimova, a 24-year-old player from Uzbekistan ranked 89th in the WTA. The match was a hard-fought one, lasting almost three hours, with Cristian ultimately losing with a score of 6-3, 4-6, 6-4.


This defeat marks an early exit for Cristian from the prestigious competition, despite her efforts on the court.
