Bernadette Szocs and Eliza Samara were eliminated on Thursday morning in the quarterfinals of the women's doubles event at China Smash 2026, a tournament broadcast live on AntenaPLAY. The Romanian pair were defeated by China's Yidi Wang and Yiyi Jiang after three closely contested sets, 11-9, 12-10, 11-7.

As a result, the two athletes ended their run at the tournament in China. A day earlier, Szocs and Samara had won their women's doubles round-of-16 match.
