Gigi Becali, the owner of FCSB, announced that he was very close to completing the transfer of Lindon Emerllahu, the 22-year-old midfielder from CFR Cluj. Becali explained that Ioan Varga, the president of CFR, needed 5 million euros for a deal, and MM Stoica suggested acquiring Emerllahu, along with Louis Munteanu.
