Gabriela Ruse is eliminated in the second round at the China Open

Gabriela Ruse (WTA 62) was eliminated in the second round in Beijing after a 4-6, 1-6 defeat to Linda Noskova (WTA 6). 

The Romanian had beaten the Czech player in their only previous head-to-head meeting, played this summer in Bad Homburg, 6-1, 6-3. In Beijing, Noskova got her revenge and leveled the head-to-head record.

In the third round, Noskova will face Viktorija Golubic, who defeated Peyton Stearns 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.
