During the Lithuanian championship match, FK Zalgiris fans threw suitcases onto the pitch in protest against Kazakh coach Vladimir Cheburin, demanding his resignation. The team is in 7th place in the A Lyga, 18 points behind leaders Kauno Zalgiris, and was recently eliminated from the Conference League. Cheburin applauded the fans' gesture, despite their displeasure.
