On Wednesday morning, Gigi Becali announced the transfer of striker Mamadou Thiam from U Cluj to FCSB, where he will compete with Daniel Bîrligea and Denis Alibec. The transfer was made for €50,000, plus the permanent disposal of Andrei Gheorghiță. Thiam will sign a one-year contract with an option to extend for another two years. The acquisition strengthens the Romanian champions' squad for next season.
