FC Rapid has reached an agreement with US Lecce for the permanent transfer of striker Jason Patrick Kodor, a 20-year-old Romanian international junior. Trained in the academy of the Italian club, Kodor played for the U18 teams and Lecce Primavera, making 11 appearances.
He has signed a contract with Rapid for three seasons and will participate in the training camp in Austria. This summer, the Bucharest club also transferred Montenegrin midfielder Vladan Bubanja, as well as Liberian striker Mohammed Kamara. Coach Daniel Pancu stated that the goal of the training camp is to unify the squad and evaluate the players in friendly matches against strong opponents, such as Dinamo Kiev and Rapid Vienna.
Pancu expressed satisfaction with the players' training and the atmosphere within the team, emphasizing the importance of facing higher-level teams to assess the team's progress. All friendly matches will be broadcast live on the club's official YouTube channel.
