Rybakina has qualified for the final of the Australian Open, after defeating Jessica Pegula, score 6-3, 7-6 (9/7). In the final, she will face the world number one in the WTA circuit, Aryna Sabalenka (27 years old).

Aryna and Elena have already met 14 times on the world circuit, with the score favoring the WTA leader: 8-6 against Rybakina.
