Serie A: Inter Milan defeats Atalanta and ends the year 2025 in first place

The Italian team Inter Milan, led by the Romanian Cristian Chivu, won on Sunday evening, away, with a score of 1-0, against Atalanta Bergamo, in the 17th round of Serie A.​ Inter managed to open the scoring in the 65th minute, when Esposito assisted Lautaro Martinez, who then scored.

The end was full of emotions for Inter: Charles De Ketelaere delivered a precise cross for Lazar Samardzic, but his attempt was disappointing, even though the Serbian striker was in an excellent position.

Chivu's team is the year-end leader in Serie A, with 36 points, one more than AC Milan.
