On Monday, Dinamo revealed the new team logo, which will be used starting July 1, 2026, but the fans' reactions have been mixed, many of them negative. Cornel Dinu, a club legend, was one of the most vocal critics, stating that the new emblem is "a shame made by some idiots."

Dinu emphasized that a club's identity must remain tied to its origins, and the changes made by the management are the result of a lack of identification with the team's tradition. He harshly criticized president Andrei Nicolescu, saying that outsiders who do not identify with the club change everything, including the crest.
