Cole Palmer suffered a fracture in a toe from a home accident, which will keep him sidelined for the next three matches. At 23 years old, Palmer had recently returned to training after a two-month absence due to a groin injury.
Chelsea's coach, Enzo Maresca, confirmed that Palmer will not be available for the Premier League match against Burnley, for the Champions League clash with Barcelona, nor for the home game against Arsenal. Although the injury is not serious, Maresca mentioned that the player will not return to the field next week.
